Ghat 300 or Ghat TS LGC 300 is an ES-LCG 300 class patrol vessel donated to Libya by the Meloni Government on 2 August 2023 together with 2 other similar patrol boats (Nalut 302 and Gharian 301).
La Ghat has the identification number on the side: Code TS -LCG 300.
On the side it has the logo of the so-called “Libyan Coast Guard” and the writing “S.W.L. 180 KG”.
On the top it has the flag and on the stern, at the top, it says “Cantieri Vittoria”.
It also has other distinctive features that make it easy to distinguish from the other two Class 300 patrol boats in service with the so-called Libyan coast guard.
Although they appear identical, it is possible to distinguish the three patrol boats thanks to a study conducted by JLProject that identified at least six distinctive features, three at the bow and three at the stern. These are the characteristics of the bow:

Nalut 302 (ES-LCG 302), Gharyan 301 (WS-LCG 301), and Ghat TS-LCG 300 are three newly built patrol boats, built by the Vittoria shipyard (Adria) for the Italian government, with the plan to deliver them to the Libyan government.

This morning, Wednesday, the Chief of the Italian Coast Guard and Port Security Agency signed a handover and acceptance agreement with the Italian authorities and the European Union for three GAT-class patrol boats, specifically designed for maritime rescue operations. This agreement is based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the two parties in Tripoli on January 28, 2022. The vessels will enter service immediately upon their arrival at the Tripoli Naval Base from Italy and will be manned by officers and non-commissioned officers of the Italian Coast Guard and Port Security Agency, trained in Italy. These vessels will conduct maritime rescue operations in waters under the sovereignty and responsibility of Libya, supporting maritime rescue efforts off the coast of Libya.
