The patrol boat Murzuq 662 is one of two patrol boats donated to Libya by the Meloni government on June 24, 2023. It is known for carrying out murders at sea and attacks on NGOs.
For example, on March 2, 2024, the Humanity vessel was carrying out a rescue operation. The Murzuq 662 arrived and fired shots at the NGO vessel. One migrant drowned, and several were seized by the Libyan patrol boat and deported to Libya.

International criminal Bija filmed the delivery of the new patrol boats at the port of Tripoli and made the happy announcement on Facebook.
How to distinguish Murzuq 662 from Houn 664
The two patrol boats (Murzuq 662 and Houn 664) are very similar but have structural differences that allow us to distinguish them with certainty.
